WHAT IS MYBO?
Malaysian Biology Olympiad (MyBO) is an esteemed annual competition organized centrally, wherein students achieving the highest marks in the BEC competition earn invitations to participate in the MyBO competition day. This national olympiad, dedicated to biology and life sciences, serves as a prestigious platform for showcasing academic excellence and fostering a deeper understanding of the natural world.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
All Biology Explorer Competition top scorers will be invited to join MYBO.
COMPETITION DATE
The Malaysian Biology Olympiad (MYBO) competition will be held on June 29, 2024
VENUE AND COMPETITION FORMAT
- The competition will be held centrally in Kuala Lumpur. The confirmed venue will be announced soon.
- Students will answer two types of papers: Paper 1 (Theory) and Paper 2 (Practical).
- Paper 1 consists of 60 objective questions with a 3-hour time limit.
- Paper 2 comprises 8 sets of questions that include objective, subjective, and true/false formats. The time limit for Paper 2 is also 3 hours.
- Paper 2 also has a 3-hour time limit.
- The questions will be provided in English only.
